Here at Bond Ranch we enjoy training and developing confidence in young horses. We show in the NRCHA and AQHA and most of our horses will also do some roping. We also enjoy taking days out of the arena and moving cows on the ranch. It freshens our horses minds and gives us some time off in God's country. We run our cattle on 75,000 acres, so there is plenty of riding to be done and it tests a horse's stamina and work ethic. Boons Mr Millienium 2006 Red Roan Gelding
Boon is a special guy around here. He is a very talented money earning cowhorse. He has also been started calf roping and is going to make a great one. We have shown him in two-handed cutting, cowhorse, and we have been using him on the ranch. He has drug calves to the branding fire, sorted cows, and trailed cows. No matter the job he is dependable, gentle, and always tries to please. His dam is an AQHA point earner as well. Boon is an NRCHA money earner scoring the high point fence work at the Wild Wyoming NRCHA show in the Non Pro Derby. He also placed 2nd in the Wyoming Futurity Non Pro Derby. He won the fence work there too.
Smokey Alamitos 2008 Bay Gelding
Dimple is a nice gelding that we raised. His sire and grand sire were AQHA point earners. He is one of the easiest starting colts we have had. He is very smart and soft with a pleasing attitude. We have high hopes for him in the future.
Ima Tuf Maid 2004 Chesnut Mare
Ginger is awesome!!! She has been used for everything on the ranch and calf roping, heading, heeling, ranch rodeos, and she's not bad with the kids. She is gorgeous and is the same trustworthy, reliable horse every time she is ridden. This is a great horse that has been an asset to this ranch for many years.
Burnin Little Lena 2007 Sorrel Mare
Lilly is a gentle mare with a great attitude. She is laid back and easy to work with, but she has the athletic ability to succeed in the show pen. She is just beginning her show career and has handled everything we have thrown at her. She is very expressive on a cow and eye appealing in her circles. She can change leads and is spinning well for her level of training. She is also a fun ranch horse. She takes everything in stride and we have started roping off of her. She is going to make a standout calf horse. She is being seasoned this year and we plan on showing her in the Derby classes next summer. Her sire is a NCHA money earner and is still being shown by a youth in the cutting classes. ** Lilly is an NRCHA $$$ earner in her first show!!! Look out here she comes. **
